Community Registry

Loved one in need of extra assistance?

PMPD's Community Registry is a voluntary program designed to help protect vulnerable persons who may suffer from dementia, Alzheimer’s, or other cognitive conditions. Families can register their loved ones by providing identifying information, photographs, and emergency contact details. The registry is only accessible and viewable by PMPD, and is not shared publicly. If an officer encounters an elderly person who appears confused or lost, they can quickly access the registry to identify the individual and contact their family or caregiver. This proactive approach supports timely reunification, enhances community safety, and gives peace of mind to families and caregivers.

To enroll, please the following information about your loved one to communityregistry@portmoodypolice.com with the subject line: "Attn: Community Registry". In your email, please include:

  • Name
  • Picture
  • Primary language (if not English)
  • Emergency contact (name and phone number)
  • Any special care or comments
