Police & Coroner investigating Rec Complex death

On February 16, 2025, at around 5:45 a.m., Emergency Health Services requested Port Moody Police attend the parking lot of the Port Moody Rec Complex for a report of a person in medical distress. Despite lifesaving efforts from firefighters and paramedics, the male was pronounced deceased at scene.

“Preliminary information suggests the death is not suspicious in nature and police are working with B.C. Coroner Service to identify the deceased man, who is believed to be in his late thirties” states Constable Sam Zacharias.
