Welcome to the Port Moody Police Department’s Media Liaison Section.

Meet Constable Sam Zacharias, our Community Relations Officer.  Sam joined Port Moody Police in 2017 and was assigned to patrol B shift after graduating from the police academy.  Sam grew up in the area and is passionate about the City of Port Moody and community policing.  Sam is the point of contact for all community-related initiatives as well as media inquiries.

If an incident occurs but there does not appear to be a news release, please telephone 604-461-3456 and ask for the Community Relations Officer or ask for the Watch Commander if the Community Relations Officer is not available.
