Chief Constable
David Fleugel
Chief Fleugel has been in the field of policing for over 28 years. Chief Fleugel has 25 years of experience with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). Chief Fleugel spent all of his career in the RCMP in metro Vancouver area performing municipal policing at all levels. The last position he held in the RCMP was at the rank of Superintendent as the Officer In Charge of the Ridge Meadows Detachment. In the spring 2017, Chief Fleugel proudly joined the Port Moody Police Department. Chief Fleugel has a bachelor's degree from Carleton University, as well as certificates in criminal justice from the University of Virginia and incident command system from the Justice Institute of British Columbia. He is also a proud graduate of the Canadian Police College Executive Development Program and also the FBI National Academy.

Deputy Chief Constable
Leslie Ogston
Deputy Chief Ogston has been in policing for 29 years, first joining the Vancouver Police Department in 1992. In 1996, Deputy Ogston moved to Port Moody and joined the PMPD. In 1998, Leslie moved back to Vancouver and rejoined the VPD, initially working Patrol and Financial Crime. Promoted to Sergeant, she was assigned to the Planning, Research and Audit Section, Financial Crime and Human Resources. Promoted to Inspector in 2012, Leslie spent a year as a Discipline Authority, followed by two years as Officer in Charge of the Professional Standards Section. In 2015, she returned to Operations as the District 3 Commander, responsible for the deployment of 145 front line police officers. In 2018, she was seconded as Bureau Director to the Criminal Service of BC and the Yukon, a multi-jurisdictional integrated unit comprised of police professionals. Deputy Chief Constable Ogston was sworn in by Chief Constable Fleugel in October 2020.

Inspector OIC Administration
Brad Sheridan
Inspector Brad Sheridan has dedicated over twenty years to the Port Moody Police Department. He was sworn in as a Constable in 2003, initially serving in uniform patrol before later being seconded to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT). While with IHIT, he played a key role in a complex serial murderer investigation and earned the Meritorious Service Medal from the Province of British Columbia.
Brad was promoted to Sergeant in 2010, ultimately leading teams in Patrol, Major Crime, and working in Professional Standards. In 2016, he led the pilot of the Community Action Team (CAT). The CAT conducted numerous successful multi-jurisdictional investigations and, in 2017, was established on the organizational chart of the Port Moody Police Department. In 2018, Brad was appointed as the Acting Staff Sergeant in charge of Operational Support, overseeing Major Crime, the Community Action Team, Professional Standards, and Community Services. He was promoted to Staff Sergeant in 2020 and to Inspector in September 2024. Over the course of his career, Inspector Sheridan has been grateful to receive several Chief Constable and Inspector commendations.

Inspector OIC Operations
Travis Carroll
Inspector Travis Carroll began his career in law enforcement as a Reserve Constable with the Vancouver Police Department in 1993. In 1997, Travis joined the West Vancouver Police Department and in 2005 joined the Port Moody Police Department. Before being promoted to Sergeant in 2010, Travis worked in Patrol, was seconded to the IGTFVST, served as a Field Trainer and is a qualified Traffic Collision Analyst. Travis was a member of the Traffic Services Section both as a Constable and Sergeant. Travis has provided leadership to the Community Services Section and to Patrol on A and D Watch as the NCO i/c. Travis continues to support the PMPD as a senior Firearms Instructor and received a Chief Constable's Commendation in 2011.
